okay. so
HALLOWEEN
I love it..really. it's one of my favoritest holidays. i don't have to dust for the whole month of october..i just blame the dust and cobwebs on using them for my decorations (husband doesn't buy it but whatever) I thought I would share the crap amount of halloween stuff i've posted so far!
eyeball wreath                     spider shirt (non permanent)

pumpkin bowling                              glue on spider shirt

tags and gift bags                                  EYEBALLS

creepy angel food cake                       non-permanent halloween shirt

         easy card..

then of course there is the whole wrong colored candy corn anonymous comment that i beat like a dead horse...

and then this one
and then I talk more about it here

and for the record...I still like to look for wrong candy colored crafts.
just puts a little spot of sunshine in my heart!

like this one from one clever cookie
and this one from my lil pumpkin patch

(for the record I would like to say that if the person had kept their real name and not put anonymous...it wouldn't be such a big deal. but the fact they had to go incognito to tell me ....i mean really.)
.

 happy halloween!!!!!

  1. I made my son a candy corn Halloween costume 2 years ago. The hat was, of course, upside down. He still knew what it was but that didn't stop the 'you did it wrong' comments :)

  2. I would never have noticed it was "wrong"! I think it is funny that they posted anonymously, told you that it was wrong and ended it with a smiley face! Why add the smiley face after you just told somebody they did something wrong, and on top of it, anonymously. Why not post your real name?

  3. I really think that if you make anymore candy corn crafts this year, you should intentionally make them wrong! Or for that fact, any halloween anything...should all be the wrong colors...it would totally make my day and just annoy the heck out of "anonymous"!

  4. If you are a bit OCD (raises hand) then the white, yellow, orange looks a lot better. Things should be in order, and order dictates that colors go from lightest to darkest, not all jumbled up and confusing and ugly.
I know that technically the way you did it is wrong compared to the actual candy but it looks soooo much better!

  5. Ok, so I will admit that I did notice -but only because I am a candy corn addict! haha. And my scale is telling me that maybe it's time I ended my relationship with candy corn... But either way looks good to me. Anyway, I found another one with the colors in that order.

  6. haha - I never would have noticed about the candy corn! :) I think it's beautiful just the way it is! But I have to admit...the spiders on the shirts - cute that it's in the shape of a heart - but that's just a little too creepy crawly for me! :)

  7. SOME PEOPLE!!! They should be crafting instead of Critiquing... I love it. And if it was real candy corn it would be worth a TON because of the mistake! Thanks for putting yourself out there for the rest of us to enjoy!

  8. OK, just because I apparently am as OCD as everyone else in the crafting blog world, once I started looking, I found examples everywhere. This is my most recent, and since it's a commercially made honeycomb...well, I loved it :
