Glue sticks!!! I love glue sticks! It makes me wonder why we didn't have them when I was in elementary school. I don't worry about the mess involved with allowing my five-year-old to sit at the coffee table and glue paper together.
ReplyDeleteI also love their wood glue - my dad swore by it and always used it in his wood working projects.
I like Elmer's on facebook.

ReplyDeleteI'm a follower! I LOVE their glue sticks! And yes, I maybe still put glue on my hands to peel it off when we have the glue out.... but did you know if you put it on your nose, let it dry, and peel it off it gets rid of blackheads???? Learned that on dr oz I think.... I've never tried it, but just another reason to love Elmer's!
ReplyDeleteI love glue dots! I also love to peel dried glue off of my hands!

I'm a follower, and yeah we did put it on our hands. Ahh, the memories, I guess Elmer's glue would be my favorite. We used Elmer's Glue to make bracelets. We also used to put it on Spacemaker's supply box. It would capture the words and we would have a nice bookmark.

ReplyDeleteThat is so funny you mentioned pouring glue in your hand and letting it dry. Me and my husband were just talking about this the other day. I used to love to do this when I was a girl. Oh the good old days.. lol
ReplyDeleteI love Elmer's Glue Dots.. They are affordable and I use them on everything. Thanks for the fun giveaway..
My favorite has to be the good old fashioned glue. I prefer it over all other brands and all gluesticks. And yes, I secretly like to peel it off as well :)
ReplyDeleteI love glue dots, I volunteer to be a den leader in cub scouts and I hate to clean up the mess white glue make(although I do love to pull it off my hand when it dries). Glue dots don't take as long to dry either, we only have an hour to do it all.
ReplyDeleteI am a follower...and I totally did the glue on the hand thing (I actually did it once when I was an adult b/c I was bored at work)
ReplyDeletejwmice(at)yahoo(dot)com
I forgot about the dried glue trick! Bahahah! I love the glue sticks...so much safer in my kids' hands than a big bottle of the white stuff. :-)
ReplyDeleteTheir glue is a necessity for everyone! And yes i used to peel it off my hands too...
ReplyDeleteOf course I follow you! You totally crack me up! Plus you live right near my bestie (she's in Inkom) and I am way far away in WI. So I feel like we could be real friends. Anywho, love the glue sticks for the kids, regular glue for me. And I definitely did the hand thing. (WHY did we do that again?)
ReplyDeleteI <3 the glue dots!! Don't know what I did before I discovered those!

ReplyDeleteI'm a follower and I love glue sticks because I love watching what my 4 yo creates and glue sticks are soooo much safer in the hands of a 4 yo than good old fashioned glue. Anyone remember those jars of paste from grade school that smelled slightly minty and were crumbly? I remember everything had this bumpy texture cause it was hard to spread! Ahhh, good old days!
ReplyDeleteGotta love their glue.
ReplyDelete<3
i think my favorite is just plain ol' white glue! and yeah, i totally used to make the fake skin to peel off! :D

ReplyDeleteI truly love the all purpose craft adhesive glue stick. It's better than any other gluestick I've ever tried. I normally hate gluesticks and think they don't hold up over time, so I wasn't hopeful when I got it, but it's been amazing!
I've had Elmer's FB page "liked" for quite some time now. And they DO have some really good crafts on their site. An excellent mix of both girl and boy crafts, and tons of way to customize just about all of them.

ReplyDeleteI like Elmers on facebook!
ReplyDeleteI love Elmer's white glue. We use it to decorate wood boxes by writing our name in the glue and sprinkling glitter on top. This way we know who's box is whose, and we "got our sparkle on!!!"
