  2. My favorite date idea is when he created a scavenger hunt for me. I had to go all over town just to end up back at home for a candlelit dinner. It is probably my favorite date ever!

  11. I don't know how original this is, but the first birthday my husband had when we were dating, I did a photo scavenger hunt. All the pictures led to places we'd been together on different dates. Each picture was taped somewhere at the location depicted in the photo before, and each photo was only a small portion of the location - like a light, or a door or something - so not only did he have to locate the picture at the spot wherever it was taped, but he also had to guess the next location based on a small part of the actual place. The finale location was a wooden castle park we'd been to on a really special date and I had my parents set up a dinner I had made inside the castle on a blanket with candles and stuff so it was all ready when we arrived. No, I don't put that much effort into it now that we're married. :)

  13. It would be nice to have a date period! If we were going to go with a date theme idea it would have to be night by the bonfire kit with roasting marshmallows included. Although I really like the scavenger hunt idea from above.

In high school, I went on a date to some ice caves. It was a few miles long and at the end, there was an ice slide. Afterwards, we had hot chocolate and donuts around a fire.

  71. Love the Movie night one the best, but thought the Mario and Luigi one was so cute too. My idea for a themed night would be to pick a letter of the alphabet and theme the whole evening around that! Always wanted to do that and go thru every letter of the alphabet. Maybe one day.... :)
