who doesn't love ice cream cake? Now --I'm no Rachel Ray. (or betty crocker although I am using her stuff)This is just out of the box. But I just wanted to share the process in making it...
Cook on a cookie sheet (you'll have to adjust your cooking time since it's not as thick)
and make sure you use parchment paper or something to make it come right out!
Cut it into quarters
The ice cream needs to be square
peel off all the cardboard and divide it in fours
You are going to stack Cake first. Than ice cream.
You are going to have 4 cake layers and 3 ice cream layers. The last quarter of the ice cream is going to be cut into thirds to fill in each of the ice cream layers.
(this is where you could get fancy and add some extra filling....but work FAST and that ice cream makes your fingers freeze so be careful when weilding a knife)
Cover in saran wrap (really good...no freezer burn!) and put in freezer overnight to let the ice cream get hard again.
Cover with icing:
Serve immediatly or put in freezer.
I think she likes it! (You could dip some brussel sprouts in chocolate and she would like it!)
