You've got mail.

This is not an original idea. My mom passed this one on to me....I love my mom.

In Primary at our church, the kids are assigned talks and prayers for the next week. Instead of just handing them out and having the kids shove them in their scripture bag, we are going to put them in a mailbox and when the flags up we are going to check "our mail" and deliver it to the people who are in charge of the talks next week. (the plan is hopefully they won't forget *as easily*)

Found this mailbox at Joanns for $8. Then I used my handy 40% off coupon. yippee.
I was actually going to make one out of cardboard but this was such a great deal I couldn't pass it up.

you can use your hot glue gun or just regular elmer's glue.
I opt for the hot glue gun. It needed some lovin.

  3. So cute! We made valentines day ones at our house, and I really miss them now that the season is over. I love how you can keep these out all year long!

  4. That is adorable. And I bet kids are more excited about ANYTHING that comes in a mail box. Even a chore list...:) My husband gets up early to do chores before my son gets up somedays. Maybe when he's older we can have a mailbox for Daddy to leave some "good morning" notes. Thanks for the inspiration!
