Spinner

My kids fight. OVER EVERYTHING. I can only do eny many miny mo so many times. I made this spinner to hopefully cut down on arguments about whos turn it is to say the prayer...and whos turn it is to crack the egg and whos turn it is to lick the spoon and whos turn it is to pick what game to play and whos turn it is to sit it the middle chair and ......see...over everything.

Start with a circle.

I cheated...used a bowl. (this is where my circle cutter would come in handy)

Now for the pie shapes...I'm sure that there is some mathematical way to figure it out...but high school math is a far memory. So I just cut out some circles on paper and cut slices out of it until they matched up. e=mc 2 kinda stuff. (Hopefully your family has as an even number)

I really have a thing for polka dots lately.

I then cut out faces to put on it... just because a floating face is always fun.

FREAKY!

I laminated it all....because you know it is going to get jelly or pudding on it at some point and time.

Made a hole in the center for the giant brad to go through. Made an arrow..on recycled cardboard.

Put some grommets in the corner to hold the ribbon....laminated this back part too.

Stick your brad through...lovely picture i know.

Put a sticker on the brad head...cause it's cute.

Put a  ribbon through and you're done. Look at that cute family of giant floating heads!

So...as I finished my spinner. couldn't wait to try it out. guess what? A new fight breaks out. "it's my turn to spin it. No, it's my turn!" How did I not see this coming. sigh.
