I am in the process of redecorating my kitchen....the cheap version. Just shaking it up a bit. Moving things around and revamping some old stuff. .
I have a pile of frames...I have piles of fabric. It is a perfect union.
This gold frame has a history. It used to hold my husband's senior picture--including tuxedo and the part right in the middle of his hair. (He was so cute) But since a giant picture of him was not really in the theme of things the picture had to go but the frame could stay. I spray painted the mat. The glass had broke so I took a smaller piece of glass and put the vinyl letters (made from my cricut...love my cricut) right on the glass and and hot glued the glass to the backside of my mat.
Then I spray adhesived some fabric to a board and hot glued that to the mat as well.
I attached the back so it all fit snugley and hung it up.
(And I apoligize for the awful pictures...it is right above my stove that is in an impossible spot to get a decent shot...either a glare or it was so dark!)
I also framed this cute cupcake fabric that was left over from an apron I made.
so cute!
